Sofia’s 2nd birthday party was an event to remember! An enchanting display of bohemian whimsy mixed with their rustic family ranch, the dreamers and lovers themed party was a delight to document.

I’m sorry I haven’t been around for you much lately. I know we haven’t spent time together in much too long, and that is entirely my fault.
You must feel abandoned. Not good enough. Unloved. I assure you this is not the case.
I promise I’ll make more time for you. I’m going to be working in Big Sur this weekend and won’t have any internet/cell reception, so I’ll be out of touch until mid week. After that, it’s you and me, babe. I’ll be back and will invest time in you and with you then.
You mean so much to me. Thank you for everything you’ve done for me. I’ll be back to share more with you next week.

Last month I spent a few days deep in the South with my grandmother who I hadn’t seen in almost a decade. Shameful as a granddaughter, I know. But it was amazing reconnecting and spending such quality time getting to know a woman who’s Lived so much.
We spent hours going through her stacks and stacks of pictures, organizing, reminiscing and reliving memories once made. The understanding of who my grandmother is, was told in thousands of ways that her words could never say. The photographs did all the talking.
Over three days we got through boxes of photos, but I left the sweet woman with hours and years still to sort through on her own. I came home motivated to make sure that mess isn’t made for my mother, or yours, or my clients who are mothers, friends or anyone possible who’s willing to let me help. I don’t want anyone to have to wait to relive their lifetime memories stuck in a chair with a broken hip mending later in life. The time [to organize and] enjoy the memories is now.

pin to tweet on email toBree and Tim tied the knot in front of the serene Rancho Santa Margarita Lake two weekends ago in a wedding ceremony filled with tears, laughter and a massive amount of excitement. They took the festivities to the Mission Viejo Country Club to rock the reception as Mr. and Mrs. Herzog complete with cake fights, chest bumps and of course, a championship game of flip cup. I mean what party is complete without those rad elements?
The whole day was super special and we all had way too much fun. That’s just what happens when you’re around Bree and Tim though, so you shouldn’t hang around them expecting anything less.
Bree’s mom Beth is the florist of The Pink Daffodil and she made an extra special bouquet for Bree that made them both cry…
