A month ago I photographed the Rice girls and shortly thereafter, the matriarch Rice girl inquired about me phootgraphing all the Rice girls, and the Rice boys too.
So all 18 of them showed up to the park in Irvine a few Sundays ago and we had so much fun under that great big [family?!] tree. The original Rices are Candace and Rob, with their boys, Jeff, Travis and Brian. Then they added a few ladies and the ladies began to multiply! Finally, the two youngest grandchildren are boys, and we’ve got one big, happy family.
So we did some family portraits with them all together, some with just grandparents/grandchildren, individual families, groups of kids, more kids, etc, etc. It was a blast! All the kids were prepped and ready for their portraits and all were excited and happy to be there. I love it when that happens! Makes my job super easy when kids are already laughing and having a good time in front of my camera…easy to make happy people look great…cause uh, happy people are great!
Happy!
And Happy December! Love this month and all the family time we all get!
