Laguna Beach Wedding at Pacific Edge and Crescent Bay Park
She took a deep breath as the last of her make up was applied. Her dress was out of its bag, her shoes and jewelry laid out and the clock ticking fast. The time was drawing near and her nerves were beginning to mount.
Two doors down, her fiance lounged with his groomsmen in t-shirts and shorts. The ocean breeze wafted through their door while sports highlights slid through the tv. I suggested that Jason start to get ready. His bride was just about there.
After Erin’s dress was on and the finishing touches done, she walked next door to meet her waiting groom. All the worry washed away as soon as they were in each others arms. ‘If there’s anything I’m more grateful than to wake up in this beautiful life every day,’ Jason said later during his vows, ‘it’s that I get to wake up next to you.’ The couple are clearly perfect together, and it showed in every smile, every embrace and every second of their wedding day that went by way too fast last weekend.
And that’s what happens on your wedding day; it flies. Erin and Jason were smart enough to slow down and savor some moments throughout the day and I was happy to see that. I’m also happy I was there to capture the rest of the moments for them to savor for years to come. Especially those stellar dance moves later in the night…
