Orange Photography | Angela, Bill and Zeva, Focusing on the Positive

Angela scheduled a portrait session months ago; her aging grandmother, lovingly known as Nona, was expecting some other family in town so a shoot with 5 generations present was totally in order. This one was going to be fun. Then Nona’s health slipped a little, as did her usually peppy mood. Angela thought it best to wait for our shoot until things were going better.

Then Nona fell asleep in the Lord and Angela’s plans for better things changed completely. Angela was very close with her Nona, and losing her was devastating, as any death can be. But Ange is a strong woman and knows that the show must go on. So she’s been going on and working towards positive improvement in her life. She’s (finally!) begun to build her designer jewelry business, taking steps to improve her own health, and focusing on the relationships that mean most to her…

Like her relationship with Bill! Angela and Bill have been together seven years and despite the recent loss in their family, it is so clear that this couple is happily in love. Bill just gets Angela, and it’s a beautiful connection to observe. He holds her like he will protect her forever. He looks at her like he’ll adore her forever. And he knows what to say to make her laugh like he’ll keep her laughing forever. With a focus on this relationship, it’s easy to see things going better!

Bill and Angela brought along their two babies to our Santiago Canyon in Orange photography sesh: their beloved pup Zeva and their bangin’ new ride, the Camaro. Angela also brought Nona’s cross to still include her and it was lovely to see Angela enjoying better things. Focusing on the positive and working towards more of it is a choice, and I’m so glad Angela chooses it.
