Jett just turned one and to celebrate, his parents decided to buy him his very first cake (and an awesome photographer to capture his first taste)!
They wanted to shoot at their Anaheim Hills home and I was stoked on that idea. I love to shoot in my clients homes as it adds such a personal and intimate element. I feel like it tells more of their story being in their own space.
So we started with some full family photos, doggies included. Then we gave Jett his first balloons and cake. A miniature party for a miniature man! He ripped off his shirt (or, his mom did) and had at it. It was adorable watching him figure it out and have fun. I’m not sure who enjoys the cake smash more, the kid or the adults! Or in this case, maybe the dogs?
Anyway, Jett is one of the cutest one year olds I’ve ever seen. I was totally smitten with his sweet little face, contagious laugh and inquisitive eyes. It was such a joy to photograph him and help tell this portion of his story…
