I photographed Sofia years ago when she was just six months old. How amazing is it that I have gotten to see this little lady grow (and even do my own growing alongside!)!?
She, her mama and I met in the Orange Circle for some portraits a few weeks back. And Darling Sophia rocked my socks off! She was all smiles and sweetness, laughter and love. I turned back to her mom at one point (to say something along the lines of ‘your daughter is AWESOME!’) and she was crying. She was so happy and so in love with her daughter the tears just trickled out. It was beautiful.
But Sophia is beautiful. Beyond her darling face and cute curls, she’s got an inner beauty I haven’t noticed in a child so quickly before. She’s super loving. Spirited. Open and enthused. Inquisitive yet knowing. Nurturing and warm, even in her tiny hands as they patted my back during our hug goodbye.
I think we got some great portraits that really show who Sophia is. However, I can’t help but feel it was a session that ended too soon. I want more of her!
