Becca is the daughter of one of my favorite clients who I’ve worked with for the past several years. I had heard a lot about Becca over the years…just fun little tidbits from her proud dad. Then a few months ago, her parents decided it was time to take Becca’s acting to the next level. And that meant getting some quality head shots.
So! Becca and her mother met me in the Orange Circle on a beautiful overcast morning. Many Southern Californians were complaining about this June gloom that lasted well into July, but I was giddy with the gloom, knowing the way it wraps the light around my subjects face in an oh-so-soft and sensual way.
Seriously! Look at Becca’s flawless skin! It is beautiful on its own, but the soft light sprinkled its magic on her cheeks that morning and bounced into her eyes with enchantment. At least I felt the magic and enchantment. 🙂
Becca was a little timid in the beginning, but slowly warmed up to me and my camera and totally opened up to the experience by the end. It was a beautiful transformation to watch. Much like the light that day, this soft and sweet girl showed us a vibrant and compelling side of herself.
