Sometimes you get stuck. Now, I live in [super dry] Southern California, so I’m not talking about in the mud or snow. I’m talking about the stuck we’ve all been in, the stuck that blinds your vision and mutes your voice.
As an artist, this kind of stuck can come often. So what do you do? One of my favorites is to phone a friend to help tow me out.
So last fall I did just that. I felt stuck. And I called on Liz. We sat in her charming office and drank wine, edited images, talked about everything boggling our minds, troubling our hearts, and of course, took photos. Because when you can’t see, shoot. And when you can’t speak, create. Your vision and voice will find their way back.
The rest of the shoot can be found on Her Lovely Images website.
