Sometimes you have to put on your favorite pair of heels, an extra layer of eyeliner, and just enjoy life for the evening. A few weeks ago, Lauren and I did just that.
We were up in LA to cover the LCDQ event photography for their Legends 2013 event. Two twelve hour days back to back called for a place nearby to rest our heads the night between. So we shacked up at Petit Ermitage, a boutique hotel tucked in the bustling hills of West Hollywood.
The hotel was charming beyond belief, and one glance at their website I knew we were in for a treat. We decided to go a night early and bring a bottle of wine, heels and a few different shades of lipstick for an evening to relax and just enjoy. We wrapped up our day’s work on our laptops in the room, then lounged poolside, sipped chardonnay in our honeysuckle covered cabana, and celebrated life at our tiny table for two in the pebble pathed garden as the sinking sun soaked the Hollywood Hills. It was the perfect little night off…in the midst of a crazy work week, the perfect evening to sit back and just enjoy.
