A former client, friend and guest at Meghan and Brian’s wedding on Saturday said to me ‘I guess it never gets old when you love what you do, huh,’ in response to my statement on how ‘work’ was going. Darn straight, I said. It really doesn’t.
And ‘loving what I do’ would be putting it lightly when talking about Meghan and Brian’s wedding on Saturday. They got married in the Chapel of Orange and celebrated with their dearest in Meghan’s parents’ backyard…a place where so many memories have been made over so many years. The admirable couple got married themselves in the same Chapel 40 years ago, less a day, and Meghan and Brian honored that not only in their thank you toast, but in the way they live their lives. Brian’s parents are honored too by the way he and Meghan share their love, their compassion and generosity with integrity and zeal. Attributes worth raising a glass for, again and again and again.
Cheers to you, Meghan and Brian! Thank you for keeping my love for my work alive with the brilliant example you set every darn day. And for adding some ‘peer pressure‘ once in awhile to jump in with you. 😛
