i am SO AMAZINGLY blessed.
not specifically by God. tho i truly believe The Creator is innately involved in most all of my things.
but SO BLESSED. by YOU.
you people. you fantastically fresh and fun and REAL people. friends. acquaintances. clients. all to hopefully continue as friends…YOU SEE ME. and some of you may not even know it. but. you do.
and you may not exactly GET ME. but you get enough to know, that i know, the honor and value of SEEING YOU. and so, you show me. a little bit sometimes. and few more layers some other times. some deep dark depths even other times.
and each time it’s a glimpse. it’s a nod. it’s a glance. it’s an eye to lens through eye locking stare. and I SEE YOU. because you bless me. you grace me. you move me…with nothing else but yourself.
and i am SO AMAZINGLY blessed. because you see me and you slowly, subtly, softy then straightforwardly allow me to see you.
that darn camera that walls between your eyes and mine. it doesn’t block us. it opens us up. but it’s what you see and i see without the camera that allows us to go deeper with it.
so, THANK YOU.
because of YOU, i am so amazingly blessed.

I was so happy to get to hang out with them for a few hours last week and feel the awesomeness the two exude (by the way, ‘awesomeness’ is totally a regular word in my vocabulary these days, but it is reserved for only the super awesome). Rosie and Roderick are one of those couples that makes you feel at ease with life and love. They are the type of couple that helps strengthen your faith in forever love. They are a couple who make love seem effortless and easy. We all know that it takes a lot of work, but Rosie and Roderick make it seem like water on the breeze: simple, sweet and refreshing.
Rosie and Roderick see The Good in life. They know the goodness is all around, and they open themselves to the good experiences every chance they get. In just a few short hours, I saw that. And I got it too.

A few Fridays ago a few of us found our way down to the Temecula Valley to taste some wines and try something new. We started at Doffo Winery, and they totally made our day, and ruined it at the same time. And by that, I mean, it was a beautiful experience not to be matched by any other winery.
Damian Doffo, along with his sisters and parents, run the small vineyard and winery with a understated elegance and soft spoken charm. Word has it that the Doffo winemakers are at wizard status in the wine making world. Basically, they know their stuff! So we tasted the finest wines and got a brief education and private tour of their land and operations. It was wonderful!
If you haven’t yet visited Doffo Winery…please do so! It’s an intimate and extraordinary experience not to be missed!

loneliness has an elusive way of loving me and hating me all at the same time. it comes up behind me, wraps its arms around and pulls me down slowly as if it’s a tired lover pulling me to bed. but then when i reach the pillows, i realize they’re not pillows at all, but fluffy versions of sorrow and despair. but. they’re so fluffy, i can’t help but bounce around with them…shaking them off with a giggle as if refusing to dance with a cute but uninteresting boy. they don’t stick. they never stick.
i see the sadness, i feel it softly. then i shake it off.
and the sadness and loneliness scoff off in rejection and decide to hate me until they try to love me again.
and again, i’m free. free from the pain that punches so many to the ground. free from the hurt that havocs so many all around.
but i’m still alone. and i know that it’s okay to feel lonely. it’s okay to be alone.
because. i never let it stick.
