Second Street Engagement Portrait Session | Alicia and Hans (and Jackie!)

Alicia and Hans somewhat remind me of Dharma and Greg. Remember that show? Dharma was the cute, quirky blonde that breathed freedom into every movement she made, while her handsome husband Greg was the straight-up, hardworking, honest business dude. She was paints and passion, he was numbers, charts and charm.

Now Alicia is definitely much more than just paints and passion…but she is such a beautiful little thing that brings such warmth and light into every room she walks, I couldn’t help but draw the comparison. Because even though I’ve technically never been in the same room as Dharma (altho I have with Jenna Alfman!), she always had a funny way of leaving me feeling warm and happy inside. And Alicia leaves me feeling the same way.

Then there’s Hans. Tall, dark and handsome Hans who is in sales and could sell me a crazy expensive power drill if he tried (I don’t have/need/want tools). He’s a little quiet compared to Alicia, but when he looks at her, I know he’d move mountains to keep her happy. He knows her warmth better than anyone, and he gives his all to warm her right back.

Basically, Alicia and Hans are a really cool couple. We shot in and around their sweet apartment overlooking Second Street in Long Beach. I had so much fun, I kinda wanna hang out with them again. Especially with their dog, Jackie (sweet name, huh!).

AndrewD - Some really great shots here Jackie! love the vintage looking yellower shot. These could easily be high end advertising shots, you ever think of selling your shots to shutterstock or gettyimages? you could make some good money on those sites in addition to the initial client payment. Just a thought.
