Natalie and I met fortuitously on the rooftop of a bar in Austin, TX during South by Southwest earlier this year. Our mutual friend introduced us as we danced amidst a crowd of show-goers above the city buzzing with an energy that only SXSW can create.
The two of us immediately discovered we had both lived in Fullerton and Natalie lit up with excitement about the possibility of a family portrait session next time she was back in her home town. So after a few months of back and forth and scheduling and rescheduling, we finally nailed down the Jungs to be all in one place at one time for some fun photos with Lovato Images.
We met at Irvine Regional Park for the family photography session on a gloriously gloomy morning. I was happy about the amazing light, the Jungs were happy just to be spending time together and we were all happy to be out of this crazy heat wave for a bit.
So we created some cool photos with this fantastically love-able family and some amazing natural light photography. Some the Jungs will surely cherish forever. Glad grooving at a show on an Austin rooftop could produce such a fab photo opp.
